SMTP Relay
Send emails from any programming language, framework, or legacy system using the universal Multivrs SMTP relay.
For legacy services, background daemon workers, WordPress installations, and frameworks without native SDK bindings, Multivrs Mail exposes a high-throughput, edge-accelerated SMTP relay.
Connection Credentials
Configure your mailer with the following parameters:
- Host: smtp.multivrs.space
- Port: 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL/TLS)
- Username: multivrs
- Password: Your active MULTIVRS_API_KEY (e.g. mv_live_...)
- Encryption: Required (TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3)
Node.js (Nodemailer) Example
Configure Nodemailer to dispatch through the Multivrs SMTP relay:
mailer.ts
import nodemailer from "nodemailer";
const transporter = nodemailer.createTransport({
host: "smtp.multivrs.space",
port: 587,
secure: false, // true for 465, false for 587
auth: {
user: "multivrs",
pass: process.env.MULTIVRS_API_KEY,
},
});
await transporter.sendMail({
from: "notifications@yourdomain.com",
to: "user@example.com",
subject: "Nodemailer via Multivrs SMTP",
html: "<p>Dispatched through the high-performance Multivrs SMTP gateway.</p>",
});Python (smtplib) Example
Send using the Python standard library with zero external dependencies:
send_mail.py
import smtplib
import os
from email.mime.text import MIMEText
msg = MIMEText("<p>Hello from Python!</p>", "html")
msg["Subject"] = "Python SMTP Test"
msg["From"] = "hello@yourdomain.com"
msg["To"] = "user@example.com"
with smtplib.SMTP("smtp.multivrs.space", 587) as server:
server.starttls()
server.login("multivrs", os.environ["MULTIVRS_API_KEY"])
server.send_message(msg)
print("Email sent successfully!")PHP & Laravel Configuration
In your Laravel application's .env file, configure the standard mail driver:
.env
MAIL_MAILER=smtp
MAIL_HOST=smtp.multivrs.space
MAIL_PORT=587
MAIL_USERNAME=multivrs
MAIL_PASSWORD=\${MULTIVRS_API_KEY}
MAIL_ENCRYPTION=tls
MAIL_FROM_ADDRESS="support@yourdomain.com"
MAIL_FROM_NAME="\${APP_NAME}"Global Edge Acceleration
Multivrs SMTP relay terminates TLS handshakes at our closest edge point-of-presence, reducing connection latency by up to 80% compared to traditional cloud mail servers.
